You were created perfectly.
You were created to fly. To soar. You were created to live extraordinarily. To thrive.
You were built beautifully, with gifts, talents, love.
You were created to soar high above and view the world from the heights. With love.
Not despair.
Obstacles challenged your beautiful existence. Challenges made it difficult to breathe, to cope, to deal, to live.
You gasped for air.
The perfect journey is never perfect… but it is a journey.
We resist resistance. We expect perfection. We look for easy, and it does not exist.
So we fight. We fight so hard and some break through. We fight so hard and some give up.
Hope, optimism, perfect dreams.
No more. Can’t deal with more. Pain. Loss. Sorrow. We decide to stay on the ground. Hope lost.
Those who give up hopes and dreams look up. Those who give up see those few who are flying and wonder what it is like to fly. To soar. To live as we were created. Not only to live. Not only to exist, not only to dream but to live our dream.
Those on the ground, exhausted from defeat, live in wonder.
Those flying know how to fly. They fly easily. They fly miraculously. They fly to gorgeous new heights. They know how to fly. They left their sandbags on the ground.
Those who fly are flying, not because they know how to fly, but because it is natural, they know how to fly.
They fly because they do not identify with their pain, their hurt, their chaos, their past. They do not hold on to their pain.
Leaving their past behind, they soar to ever-wondrous new elevations.
They shed their past. They learn from their past.
But they leave it on the ground.
They treasure the ride more than their past. The ride is their identity, not their sandbag.
Those on the ground hold on to the sandbag, refusing to let go. Refusing to release.
Holding on for dear life. Not wanting to be let down again. Not wanting even more pain. Hurt. Suffering. Letting go of a sandbag might hurt but it might not.
The risk is risky. The unknown. The fear. The potential for more pain.
Bear No More Pain
But releasing the sandbag is the only way. It is the only way to soar. It is the only way to exist beyond today.
It is the only way. You cannot hold on to your sandbag – your pain, and soar as you were created.
You can have one, or the other. Only you can choose. It is your choice.
But everything is available. You can look up and see those flying and live in envy, jealousy, torment.
Or you can release your sandbags. Your past, your pain, your suffering.
The choice is yours. Only yours.
People who have released their sandbags can teach you how to release your sandbag.
But they cannot release it for you.
The choice is yours.
Own your life. Own your choice. But the choice is yours alone.
You were created to release. when you release, you will experience the highest of highs, the beauty of elevation, the perfection of your dreams. Peace.
But you must decide.
Your pain, or your dreams.
The choice is yours alone.
